First off, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Dave and am known through the world of lowbrow art and by most people who know me in San Francisco and Hollywood as Dave DeLuxe . Ive been photographing the Custom Kulture since the mid-nineties as I stumbled upon a rockabilly weekender one sunny S.F. afternoon. After a series of brilliant photos from that weekend, I found what I would be known for and what I really enjoyed photographing.
I am currently on a self-imposed hiatus from the United States and 9000 miles from my home in Hollywood. Ill be returning this summer around the beginning of July where Ill be spending most of my time in the Los Angeles area with adventures down to Mexico and back up to San Francisco.
Im here on SG looking for creative types to get inspired by, pretty girls to photograph, and people who enjoy a good adventure and a stiff drink.
