So this morning was really weird. Well, kind of the combination of last night and this morning.
Anyways, last night I had one of those really vivid dreams where you are like actually a part of the dream and you almost feel like it really happened when you wake up. It was kind of interesting too because my ex and her boyfriend was in it. It went like this:
I was at a fair with my ex, who is actually a really good friend of mine, and we were walking around talking and whatnot. Then we got hungry so we stopped to eat at one of those crappy but for some reason really good fair food stands to grab something to eat. We sat down to eat and then her boyfriend came up. It was pretty chill until they started to argue. I didn't want to get involved until he hit her. Know, I have always been raised to respect women. So naturally when he hit her it didn't go over too well. I confronted him about it and him being a stereotypical angry dude puffed himself up and started pushing and whatnot trying to start a fight. But I am not a fighter with fists, I fight with words. Now the rest of the dream gets very... movie-magic-like. I backed down and started to ask him how he thought it made her feel when he hit her. He said he thought she felt like he was the boss and not to make him mad again. Then I asked her how she felt, and she said she felt like he was an inch tall and invisible. Then she pulled her blanket over her head.... why she had one, I don't know, she just did.... and literally disappeared. This is when he started to freak. Now remember, we are at the fair with tons of people around, and tons of women. So I asked all of the women in the area how they felt when or if they have been hit and they said the same thing and they also pulled their blankets over their heads and disappeared. After that I asked him again how he thought his girlfriend felt when he hit her. This time he paused and thought about it. He realized what kind of damage he had caused and it was one of those life changing moments for him. After this all the girls came back and it was really strange, like dreams usually are, and he started crying and nobody cared and then it was kinda over.
So back to how it was really vivid and it felt like it really happened, Well it felt so much like it really happened, when my alarm went off this morning I asked myself why the hell I had my alarm on on the weekend. So I turned it off. I woke up about 30 minutes later and realized that it wasn't the weekend and I still had to get my little brother up and take him to summer camp.
I was a little annoyed, but it was a cool dream, my description gives it no justice.
