Yes, I think I am ready for the off!
OK so big fat update for you all. On April 15th I was involved in a motorbike accident. I injured my left foot causing tendon & ligament damage. I was basically immobile for the next 6 weeks.
In that time a lot of personal issues came to the surface. Most noticibly my relationship - my gf and I had been together for nearly 5 years. We'd openly discussed moving in together but there had always been a reason why we couldn't do it. We had been trying to get things back on track for about 9 months but to no avail and we separated in early May. It wasn't an easy decision but I will say what I have said to many people when they ask me about how I feel - I'm not happy but I'm sad either.
So time to start fresh and new. Best foot forward (healing nicely now thankfully) & looking towards the future.
My immediate future is very exciting. You see I never did the whole gap year travel thing that most students/young people do. I just never had the drive - in all honesty I was lazy. Either way my eyes are much wider & my mind much wiser. So I'm off to Europe for two weeks travelling through countries both known & unknown. I start in Amsterdam this Monday!
I'll be travelling by train across Europe & I hope to see amazing things & meet amazing people. Who knows maybe I'll meet some of you all out there? If you do want to meet then give me a shout either here or at my email -

I look forward to seeing & doing more than I ever imagined. I think I'm ready...to start living.
