Let me tell you about a dream I had last night. There are really two parts that I remember with one being auxilliary to the other. The thing I remember most about the dream is that there was a girl. I don't really remember what she looked like but I remember what she made me feel. It was one of those times when you walk into a room and you only notice one person in a sea of people. She was absolutely amazing. She was sitting on a couch in conversation and I joined the conversation sitting next to her. It's fuzzy at this point but I know that nothing happened between the two of us. Then we ran into each other someplace else. And then again. When I did talk to her I found out that she was from New York and had a boyfriend. They were on vacation with her brother and father. Right before she was set to leave, I asked her to stay with me. After a second, and the blessing of her father, she stayed back as her boyfriend and father left.. I know in the dream I was thinking about what kind of living arrangement we were gonna have at my apartment because her brother was coming with us as well.
The second part of the dream was the humorous part. We were in this deserted piece of land and there were caverns strewn about in the ground. People would go into the caverns and explore with their dogs. The funny part was watching them push the dogs out the cavern entrances about their heads. The dogs would pop out from the holes and run around for a bit until all the dogs and their master had squeezed out.
Overall it was one of those dreams that I didn't want to stop. I've had two or three dreams during the past year in which I fall in love and every one of them makes me want to sleep forever. They make me sad to wake up but I know they serve a purpose. For that time while I was asleep, I was reminded of how wonderful love can be and how much two people can care for each other. It keeps me trucking on, even after a week like I've had. I'm getting ready to go to bed now; I hope I can continue with something beautiful again tonight. -dave
