I'm feeling left out.
In related news, I heard a story about a co-worker of mine w/ the radio group. His name was Owen and he worked at one of our stations which was 2hrs away. We had a lot in common (both May 2004 grads) and always hit it off when we were working together (which wasn't often). He was a transplant from northern Kentucky to the town of Martinsville, VA where this station is. He fought the same issues of being alone that I have been. He got transfered recently to another station closer to home for him so I guess he's doing better now. One of his regular coworkers at that station told me a story about him from the week right before he left for the new radio station. He had gone into the hospital in the early morning due to a kidney stone. They gave him some medicine and released him but he needed someone to come pick him up. The only person he could call in the town was his coworker who did end up picking him up from the hospital and driving him home. That's all he had.
While I have a few coworkers who would probably pick me up from the hospital in the event of such an emergency, I'm pretty much in the same boat. I'm not seeing anything gertting better for me in the near future. I am having a difficult time keeping myself happy. It's growing darker for me with no light in sight. Sorry to be so depressing all the time. If people really knew what others went through, this world would be a lot more compassionate place. -unsigned from someone who is drifting away
