I've had an interesting couple of days. My car battery died in the middle of the week, so Stu has been driving me around everywhere. Friday we went and ran errands including picking up a new rat (whose name is Erin, again sticking w/ the SG naming convention). Afterwards we did a radio show together and then came home. Enjoyed a late dinner at Steak&Shake with the boys.
Saturday, Stu and I picked up a new battery for my car at Rural King. It could be my new favorite store. Then tonight we headed down to Bloomington for their first GLBT Pride Film Festival. There were many good films and it was again enjoyable. I got to spend a lot of time with my friends.
But, unfortunately, when I got home I suffered letdown. I've been having these awesome days w/ my friends, but I have a letdown at the end of the day when people return home and I am left alone in my room. Going to bed alone everynight is depressing for me. I really am feeling desperate althought I haven't acted desperate yet. I've been seperating myself from the whole hetero dating community by hanging around with gay men and women lately. It makes me feel better in that I am not seeing heteros hooking up, but I gives me a 0.002% chance of doing so myself.
To end on a high note, after the short films tonight, I was flagged down by an acquaintance from high school. I didn't get to talk to her long, but it was still cool. -Dave

Oh yeah, and if you're feeling desperate, there's always room in my bed. -wink-wink-nod-nod-
