Say hello to Morris my new cat. He is a two-year old male short haired Tabby cat. I picked him up from the Humane Society on Sunday and we are becoming pals. He is a super friendly cat and has not been shy at all. He managed to lose two little mice toys within an hour of being home. He has been good about eating, using the litterbox, not scratching or biting me, and being friendly. He wants to be petted more than a dog. What he does is he rubs up against my leg, then raises his rear in the air and then flops over onto his side. If I pet him, he then flips over onto his other side. Then, he'll get up and start the process over and over again. He flops more than the all the members of the Colombian soccer team combined. We are headed to the vet's office tomorrow to get his checkup. In other news, I toured the Biltmore Estate on Saturday which is the largest privately owned mansion in the United States. It is absolutely incredible. It was built by the Vanderbilt family in the 1880s. A few stats about Biltmore: has it owns gardens, winery, and used to have 125,000 acres (now only 8000 acres). The house itself is 175,000 square feet and has it's own pipe organ, bowling alley, and indoor swimming pool. In comparison, Bill Gate's home is 45,000 sq. ft. If anyone is ever near western North Carolina, I highly suggest you see this American wonder.
and it also sounds like you got yourself a quality cat there. very affectionate
