DOES ANYONE HAVE AN EXTRA TICKET TO SEE THE DECEMBERISTS AT THE FILLMORE?
I would be SO stoked if you did and I could have it or buy it, 'cuz I was waiting on someone to get me one, and they...well, they didn't get on the ball, and I was not wise to hope they would do it and not get them myself. Shit happens.
Fucking hell.
My thoughts go out to everyone screwed over by Hurricane Katrina.
I gave some money to the Red Cross. I hear they have some funky management issues, but overall, they help a lot of people.
My friend is getting trained in a crash course for Disaster Relief in October and then the Red Cross is paying for his flight and accomodations while he volunteers in the Gulf Coast. They need people that bad.
I am upset because my school starts on the 22nd of this month, too soon to fly down and help, so I offered local help instead, but I missed their return call, so phone tag it is.
After paying rent at my new place for a few months, I finally decided to physically move in, versus using it for solely storage. Previously, I had just packed a bag and hopped around the city, basking my body in cold fog instead of sun and sea when I am from.
I spent most my summer in the dark recesses of my brain, which sucked, but hopefully I am clawing my way out of the well now.
Did y'all know I have a set queued, eh?
The ultimate lagger will have some new pics, can you believe it?
Now if I just get off my ass and have another one ready asap, maybe I will have some even newer pics within, oh, less than a year. Sheesh.
I am oddly missing Central America right now, and the jungle, and meeting trippy people, and having way too many bug bites.
My goal is to finish my degree, after a dinosaur era eon of taking a break from it, and then somehow untangle the mess of my, ahem, life.
I need a smack in the rear to get going, to move forward from the rut my wheels are spinning in.
That's all for now.
