Argh! I HATE it when this happens! When the feet of sleep time walk right past me, oblivious to my existence. I want their footsteps all over me, stomping my eyes shut into sweet unconciousness, so that I can get some rest before tomorrow, the first day of classes.
The more I try to sleep, the less I succeed at it during these times. Got to much on m' noggin' perhaps. All leveled out since my last journal(sheesh what a doozy!) but since I was a wee one, somtimes I can't get myself through that magical doorway into the land of slumber and dreams.
Oh, I will be hating life when the alarm goes off at the crack of dawn. My eyes will feel like the fire of the sun burns in them, and I will lament for a lost night of rest. It's one thing if I'm out on the town going nuts and dancing my ass off or something, but shit, my buddy is passed out next to me, snoring like a kitten, and here I am awake. Woe is me, lament lament!
Alright, this is war. I am gonna lay my head on that damn pillow and wrestle mr. slumber to the ground and bite him until he yells "Uncle!" and lets me into the gates of dreamland as well. There's plenty of other nights I would love to have myself up hooting with all the other night owls, however, this is not one of them.
