I'm listening to Bouncing Souls.
I got a new computer
I am not geek enough to make it work properly.
It's pretty choice and it has a neat Audiophile 2496 soundcard (with a view to learning to record stuff), AMD Athlon 64, a proper graphics card (heheh) and 2 DVD drives (one writer, one reader) BUT.... although everything else seems to work just fine, I can't get any sound when I play DVD's in either drive. I upgraded to windows media player 10, searched for new drivers for soundcard, did the whole "troubleshooting" thing, got Alton to take a look. The only thing he's been able to suggest so far is that it might have something to do with running 32 bit software on a 64 bit processor. And I only kind of vaguely understand what that means. heh. Since I only own 3 DVD's this isn't a big problem yet, but it's the principle of the matter goddamnit!
Also, I have a sprained wrist which I am somehow supposed to rest, dispite the fact that the doctor said I didn't need time off work, and I am working double shifts at least twice a week up to Christmas.
Also I had the worst hangover of my life on Monday. Post-christmas staff party at the Mex. I couldn't even keep water down for about 24 hours, and three days later, I still have a headache. hahah. Serves me right for drinking so much tequila and running around in a skirt and high heels in vulcan lane trying to kick David's ass.
Peace Out.
