The new SG logo. I like it. It has a kind of piratical air about it, inasmuch as the font used looks very similar to one used in books that feature items pertaining to pirates. (And pirates only speaks in the present tense, does pirates). Sorry drifted away a bit there. Mind wandered. It'll come back when it wants something... 🤔🤔🤔 😆😆😆

Ah, yes. Here in the UK, we don't tend to make such a big 'thing' of it: that, we save for November the Fifth, where we remember the 'Gunpowder Plot', where a gang of malcontents, led by one Robert Catesby, but remembered for another member, Guido 'Guy' Fawkes, set out to blow up the Houses of Parliament, Politicians, King and all, in 1605. The gang had filled a basement under Parliament with barrels of gunpowder, with Fawkes looking after it - he was a bit of an explosives expert. However, due to odd letters turning up, telling some MP's to stay away on 05/11/1605, Fawkes and the gunpowder were discovered, and King James the first of England, sixth of Scotland, and the government were saved. Fawkes and the gang were rounded up, and died very horribly for their impertinence. We burn effigies of Fawkes, and let off fireworks to commemorate this.
