well i am back home now. it was great spending time with my father and i hope he gets to come to Montreal for the spring. I got to drive his 'smartcar' (without a license because mine has long expired) but it was uber funtastic.
i got this adorable picture from a fellow SG on myspace:
how frickin' cute is that?
for the first time in my life i forgot my mum's birthday and i felt horrible...she had a good laugh at me though. i'll make it up to her eventually.
while i was away the lovely Kali got measured for some dresses my companion will make for her to model, i wish i was there.
i got my over-the-knee boots and wore them out around westmount and in zellers; got some looks did i...my ass was hanging out of my short cut off sari so i was asking for it. i love my boots...i took a nap in them.
Edmonton is great for Punjabi clothes, the goodwill on 118th ave was stock full of beautiful embroidered silk saris. i found myself broke quickly after my stint of shopping there. the majority of the population in that city seems to overlook goldmines.
i entered myself into a contest to be on the cover of "Shine" magazine, it's to show off my hair, i made numerous spelling errors which i am not to proud of but i guess it just proves i suck at spelling and the small demographic of "Shine" will have a good laugh if i win.
