let me recap, the shooting at dawson was no good, obviously, i live within two blocks of that place. i was not home and when i tried to get home i was at best almost arrested. (yes i admit i am slightly fabricating the arrested part).
in recent news; however, Patrick McCabe (only the best contemporary novelist) came to a class of mine and i had him sign my copy of The Butcher Boy. my copy has been chewed by rabbits and yet i was not embarrassed. if i could ever say i was in presence of divinity it would be on account of meeting him!
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE PATRICK MCCABE!
