Wow it has almost been a year since I last re-uped my account, and that means soon enough, I'll be a ghost again, for a little while anyway. Monies, they is tight.

In other news: I sort of kind of have a job...sadly it's deferred pay, so...I might not see any money from it for a while. Bummer.

Anywho, how are all of you doing?

Happy Halloween!

My Top Ten Films for 2008

Special Mention: Mongol
This film didn't REALLY come out in 2008 (it was eligible for the 2007 Oscars) but it came out in my area in the late spring of 08, so screw the rules. I think the film was pretty damned fantastic. The acting was superb, and the film was a sight to see. So visual, so epic....

Yes, on Boylston! We really love it.

Let's get together next time you're in town, and catch a movie or something.

Hope your holidays were bright and cheery. Mine were. Now, here's hoping 2009 is a great deal better than the great big pile of suck that 2008 was.

My Resolution: Get a New Job, Post more on SG.

October was a good month, even though it started off pretty shitty. November is...freaking cold.

Looking for work now, and it sucks. Hopefully I'll get a job in the next week, but who knows.

I need to get a licence and a car, neither of which I want to do since a) I am not fond of driving and b) I have no desire to...

So today my grandmother died.

She was a beautiful spitfire woman, whom I loved dearly. It's painful...but life will go on.

Keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers.

My sincerest (albeit belated) condolences. I lost my gram a little over a year ago, so I can relate.

Been a while since I posted so heres a good ol' update

- Moved home a month ago.

- still un-employed

- will be re-employed during the month of October at Canobie Lake Park for SpookyWorld

- still not an Oscar(c) winning filmmaker.

So, yeah. Thats my life right now.

I'll check back in when things are more interesting.
thefreak:
No shit, they're doing Spooky World @Canobie now?

I wish I could've made it out back when Tiny Tim was still alive and liked to show up.

Making Music

Thats what I've been doing since the move. Just makin' music.

King Crazy is my pen-name

King Crazy (the Myspace Page)

The concept is Orchestral Electronic Music that will be tied together with short films and stories about the main character, King Crazy.

I was bored, this came about, and you know what? I'm proud of it.

The track "The Empire of Dust"...

It's been fucking sweet, Boston.

To the friends I've made, Sid, Alyk, and all the SG Boston people....

Last year, when the new Harry Potter book came out, I used my magical photoshop skills to whip a teaser poster for the film of said book.

http://fc01.deviantart.com/fs16/f/2007/206/9/8/Deathly_Hallows_Teaser_2_by_darthy13.jpg

The image is based of of a striking image in the book, a crumpled piece of paper with the symbol of the Deathly Hallows. I made the symbol look a little more hand drawn, but still the...
