So, I'm having to do this. I've always liked Coldplay. I love their music! OMG! Though today, I just, I couldn't get enough of their song Clocks. I truely think it's the perfect song. Everytime I hear it, no matter what mood I'm in I feel like I've become totally at peace with everything. It paino, the drums, everything, it feel so magical.
So, for me, the song is like a happy place, that makes me all happy and stuff inside.
Here are the lyrics:
Lights go out and I can't be saved,
Tides that I tried to swim against,
Have put me down upon my knees,
Oh I beg, I beg them please,
Singing, come out of things I've said,
Shoot an apple off my head,
And I, Trouble that can't be named,
The tigers waiting to be tamed,
Singing, you are,
You are.
Confusion never stops,
Closing walls and ticking clocks,
Gonna, come back and take you home,
I could not stop what you now know,
Singing, come out upon my seas,
Cursed missed opportunities,
Am I a part of the cure,
Or am I part of the disease?
Singing, you are,
You are,
You are,
You are.
And nothing else compares,
Oh nothing else compares,
And nothing else compares.
You are,
You are.
Home, where I wanted to be home,
Home, where I wanted to be home,
Home, where I wanted to be home.
So...for those of you (and I know alot of people on here have), that have heard the song. What do you think it means, or what does it mean to you?
