I finally got around to read Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by author; Seth Graham Smith and I must admit I am very pleasently surprised of how good it is. I always wanted to learn about the only president I can remeber his name due to his signature hat and beard. Never in a million years was I expecting such informative material, no joke. Sure you gotta take it with a grain of salt but still, the story is so well grounded in reaity that it is very hard to differentiate fact from fiction.
I had read: Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, by the same author, prior to reading AL: Vamp hunter and was expecting it to be way more ridiculous than it was. Suffice to say I was pleased to find that the author didn't put too much in it.
Bottom line is I highly recommend this book to anybody who wishes to learn the broad strokes of the life of the legend that is Abraham Lincoln but, like me, needs a little sillyness with his learning to register properly.
