So I guess you can call me a gadget geek, or in Army parlance a gear queer. I like when someone improves something, makes it better. Not just making it new for the sake of it because that can often just result in a triangle wheel, but really making it better. And what is it I am geeking out on now you ask? My Micro Fiber towel.
Who writes a blog on a micro fiber towel, me of course. To me its almost as revolutionary as digital. Ok not really but it magical blend of polyesters, polyamides (thanks google) bring me nothing but pleasure with its ability to ingest all the moisture I throw at it. Its thirst is never sated. In fact I believe if the Hebrews would have had these at the red sea, they would not have needed Moses. Not to make light of the those in a life or death struggle with the mighty Mississippi, but could these things help?
My current tech crush is kind of lame, but it brings me joy in its amazing simplicity and its Samson like triumph over the Goliath of old towel standard. Have not tried one yet, treat yourself and you might reach the level of adoration I have for them... or not, that's cool too.
On a different but possibly equally geek note --thanks to another favorite piece of technology-- I will be having a Mad Max marathon tonight. Thank you giant hard drives and your ability to store all my pirated digital delectables. Life is good, even when its located in suck.
D.
PS: Did I use my em dash right? If so, awesome. If not, don't fucking judge me.
