I know, politics right? Who wants to talk about that shit? Me. Its the ultimate display of human nature. Its a cultural anthropologist dream (if I really knew anything about cultural anthropology other than it sounds cool). Its the culmination of our high school social climate that make life miserable for everyone around. Its a pack of people not willing to be themselves for fear of not being accepted. Its a roving band of bullies trying to win their freedoms by crushing others. And its perpetuated by a blathering mass of zombies who make their choices with about as much thought as they chose their prom king and queen.
You have the "Far Right" consisting a group of people trying to live a life based off a book that they have most likely not even read. Willing to oppress other wants and rights because they think it will get them into a sweeter condo in the hereafter. How can a person who claims they are kind and caring have the gull tell someone that they can't visit the deepest love and companion of their life in the hospital on their death bed because a magic man in the sky says its evil. And they have trouble identifying with a culture who stones woman for being raped? Is it that much of a stretch?
And then you have the "Far Left" consisting of a pack of surrealists who I am pretty sure do not live in the same world or maybe even the same dimension as I do. Don't get me wrong, I am for change and a better life but just like you can't create a religion that represses most human desires, you can't make your decision without even acknowledging 1000s of years of human history. We have made amazing changes in human rights and laws to protect people. But there are certain things you must accept. Wars are going to happen because when all else fails and all a pig head wants to do is oik you have to punch him in the face. And most importantly though I think we are all in this together you still have to look out for yourself and yours first. You can't expect people to want to work hard so others don't have to. Speaking as a man who has spent the last 11 years in the ultimate socialist structure that is the US Army, pulling other peoples weight sucks.
And through all of this the extremes are made up of the same type of person, they just took differing paths to the battlefield. And the biggest downfall of both groups is probably the greatest evil of man, ignorance. All of the great atrocities of our world have been done because of ignorance. Sure they have been done in the name of "great" things. or so they thought but they all stem from Ignorance. We live in a world where that seems to be ok now a days and it is championed by a pack of rabid dogs spoon feeding their pups how they will think and act.
Stuck in the middle is the true majority just trying to live our lives and be happy. Trying to do the right thing and not be a hypocritical pack of D Bags crushing others with ignorant oppression. And quite honestly we might be screwed because if history has taught us one thing its that you can't take human nature in a fight. Fuck it Dude, lets go bowling.
