I shot Mar again over the weekend, so despite all the crazy shit that happend at the start of the weekend the rest was fairly good and I got to shoot something significant.

She wanted to do something based on Sin City, but honestly i kind of hate the whole selective color thing. Its kinda cheesy and good for maternity or wedding shots on occasion and is just kind of a tired look... so I wasn't really down with it. Plus she didn't have enough hooker or leather clothes to really pull it off, so that idea went out the window. I have some with her posing with a gun, but i think it's so cheesy... We shot some other stuff instead and I got to test out some different lighting techniques.

She eventually kept asking for a selective color thing, and i obliged with this picture



the rest were done playing with the beauty dish, and they came out kind of SCI-FI ish, for some reason I kept thinking of battlestar galactica and V but I don't think i've seen enough of BSG to really say it was based off of that. So i guess i'll just leave it as that, sci fi.







and this one is my favorite from the bunch.. I kind of want to photoshop some celestial art into this one
we'll see though



and these are just pretty shots and me trying some different post processing techniques.. and don't let these shots fool you, its hard to pose a stoned model while also being stoned hahaha..








anyway i'm pretty stoked on these.
