It's always interesting to get the perspective on classics that other artists SOMETIMES bring to the table. The mark of a good song is that any artist can give it a completely new arrangement, and the brilliance of the song itself still shines through. Ray Davies even participated in a tribute album to himself recently, collaborating with the other artists on his songs, and the results were very pleasant.

I loved her, I think.

I remember standing outside Spaceland, not amused, when she canceled her show there to run off to Vegas with Bruce Willis. Not the first and not the last time a beautiful woman stood me up.

Yes, ditching class and going to one of those dismal chain restaurants that haunt the Valley, like Carrows or Denny's was prime time entertainment (and they seemed so welcoming and even exciting then, with their cranky old waitresses, open 24 hours and I could walk in barefoot and high and it was ALL GOOD -- plus, do you guys remember when Denny's had a smoking section in the back, with a curtain as a divider?? Old school.)

I was friendly with lots of circles, but like you Lance, not until I joined Drama did my life really change. Whether that was for the best, I'm not sure. haha. More friends ='d Less Sobriety. I can't imagine what my life would be like now if I was still on that road. Good girl gone bad, gone good (sex has replaced speed).
