Well, guess who just left my house.
Miss No Call. No Show. from a week ago. And offered up the lamest excuse ever. I didn't really care, in fact I didn't even bring it up when she call Friday to what I was doing this weekend. I decided I'm no longer going to reach out or emotionally invest in this this person. Just dating and hanging out.
Last week at work I was physically threated by a near elderly nurse. We are part of a project team assigned to find a way to save the company $200.000 a year. During a meeting she verbally attacked another member of the team for asking her a question she felt shouldn't be asked by someone with a lower pay grade than her. I jumped in in the defense of person and her question saying the companies executives (which I'm not a part of, as the lowest paid full time employee in the company) has asked the same question to her and her department and have yet to get the much needed answer we need to move on in the project. After to meeting she was waiting for me and gave me a look and a gesture that, if she was a guy, would have lead to us coming to blows. She then turned and ran around a corner. I told a few other members of our team about the event and some believe I should take it to HR. But being a 6'3" and 225 pound male, I would feel kind of rediculous making a formal complaint saying I felt threatend. Actually, I think it's kind of funny since the nurse looks like Granny Clampett.
Wow! This has been the most interesting my life has been in years.
Also, the most frustrating. But I'm starting to find humor in it. So that's good, I guess.
