I am so conflicted right now.
I met a chick in my class. When I first saw her my first thought was DAMN! I mean, she is hot. Pretty face, beautiful hair and a body that bought a tear to my eye. I guess what I trying to say is she is a very attractive lady. And contrary to my first impression she is a total sweet heart. Friendly and funny. We hang and joke in class likes kids, throwing water at each other and playing pranks, its really childish and cool. Today we hung out after class at bar and had a cool time. (interesting side note; my bartending school is upstairs from a liquor store thats next door to a bar).
The problem, we are on totally different wave lengths. She likes Mariah Carey and 50 Cent. I think they are total waist of talents and prefer Otep and Rakim. She wants to be a politician and I (thanks to our current political environment) lean more towards anarchy, or at least wont ever vote again. Shes into trends and fashion while I believe in individuality and self expression. I hate going to clubs to listen to Pop and House music and I dont think she would like KMFDM or Skinny Puppy. And Im not going to begin to talk about the possible intimacy differences. And lets just leave religion out of it.
Now while I like this Good Little Political Trendy, I dont want to get involved in something possibly doomed from the start. Yes, starting any relationships is risky but to start with such significant social differences? (I once dated a republican (dont ask) and that was just a bad idea). And she seems pretty well adjusted while I Darqkloud obviously got me some issues. And when she asks about my tattoos I'll have to explain all that.
(I have a picture of one of my tattoos in my Pics, take a look. Explaining that one is going to be fun, not. But I still love it, no regrets).
I guess Ill just play things by ear and try not to think too much about it. Who knows, we may just end up in The Friend Zone or any number of other relationship two people end up in after getting to know each other.
I think I figured out why I'm thinking about this so much,
