So, for the first time in I don't know how long I actually woke up early today. I thought I would take the extra time to blog.
A couple of weeks ago I took a flash class here in AZ. It was really good. After the class, we all went to Mill to take some night shots.
Picture of the instructor right before sunset:
First try at nightime flash photography:
These were to try and take some pics w/o putting glare on the window behind him:
If anyone is interested, this photgrapher's website is Snapfactory. He is really good. He likes to enforce all of his classes with actual practice.
I also went to the Ren Festival this last weekend. I took tons of pics, but the sky was so overcast that the sky was just a grey smear. It was still a fun time. I won't post the pics here, but they are on my flickr page if anyone is interested.
I have been lacking in the blog space recently, but I have done my best to support my friend's set as they go up!
P.S. - K, I do have to add one pic from the festival. The falconer uses a bait bag to play with the birds kinda like fetch. He swings it around and they fly in and catch it. This little guy didnt want to let go. I like his expression as the falconer tries to get him to release it:
