Hey there everyone. I didn't do much this weekend. Funny how plans can change really quick. Although, I never really plan much. My friend got sick on Saturday so we didn't hang out. So I headed to O'Kelly's to visit my friend Andrea. I got kinda close to a few of the bartenders at the Wild Hare here in Chandler so once it shut down they were scattered to the wind. I spent a few long nights with them. Being bartenders, it generally meant hanging out until 3 or 4 in the morning after they got off of work.
Here are some pics from last week's photgraphy assignment. It was for shutter speed. These didn't come out as well as I would have liked, I started running out of time before I had it where I wanted it:
Some initial shots with just water. The contrast between the glass and the water was crummy:
And of course, another Cortana shot. This is a small illuminated Cortana figure that I set on my coffee table 4 feet in front of my entertainment center:
I need to head to the park early one morning and check the light. A friend of mine from work has agreed to model for a few shots. I just want to head there first to try out a few tricks that were taught to me. Like posing the model between the sun and the camera and use a flash to fill. Supposed to make this nice glowy outline behind them.
K, that should be enough for now. Later
