Alright, so I finally did it. I went out and got me my SLR. I have been having fun with it, but I got some books on the way to help out a bit with it anf Lightroom. I have a couple friends at work that can help out as well. One is a pro and the other is learning from him. Should be really interesting to see what I can do.
Took this in low light conditions with the built-in flash. I had my 18-200 zoomed all the way to 200 with a f/ 5.6 and ISO100:

I still need to buy a flash and a case. Also, once I get a bit more into it I need to look at some pro lenses.
