Lol, I really should update this before too much time passes!
How I spent the rest of my vacation:
A week ago today, I sat and watched NINE HOURS of the Land Of The Lost marathon. This is the original version from the 70's, was my FAVORITE show as a little kid. I still love it to death, it's one of the few things that is not only as good as I remember it, but actually better than I remember. That is a rare thing! So that was pretty fun, but boy did my ass hurt after sitting all day,LMAO! I have NO desire to see the new movie version...people need to stop with this remake shit.
Friday night I went to my writer's group meeting. It was an awesome night! We had it at Greg's house for a change and he made some awesome food! He made this pork roast thing...oh fuck was it good! Porkchops are one of those things I LOVE so much but never get a chance to eat. I'd cook them myself but for reasons too long and tedious to go into, I can't. So if any of you ladies out there want to make me your willing slave for all eternity...make me some porkchops!
Saturday during the day, I went to an author reading/signing at the bookstore where my friend Tammy works. They have an event there every Sat. afternoon and I promised her I would try to attend them on a regular basis. Last week they had a local author/reporter who wrote a true crime book about the Shelia Labarre case, which happened only a few years ago but is already pretty infamous. Shelia Labarre was a woman who would lure men, usually shy men with low IQs, to her farm here in New Hampshire. She would kill them, dismember them and then burn the remains in a big barrel. The book looked really good so I bought and had a copy signed for a friend of mine. The book is called Wicked Intentions, try to track down a copy!
Sat. night I went to hang out with my friend Terri, we talked and got some food from Taco Bell. Lot's of fun!
So...it was back to work this week. Things went smooth I guess. Could have been a lot worse!
I had a dream the other night that freaked me out and I can't stop thinking about. I dreamed there was this demonic dog outside my house, it's mouth was full of these tusks that looked deadly. It made this eerie sound and just wanted for me to leave the house so it could attack me. I can still feel the fear I felt in that dream, looking out my window and seeing it wait for me with that awful patience...
I feel like I'm forgetting to mention something...if it comes to me, I will update!
Take care everyone!
