Small vacation update:
Lol, I haven't done too much but here goes...
Friday night
I finally saw the new Star Trek movie! I liked it a lot but it did seem a little hollow in parts and I was puzzled by some of the story choices the writers made. But overall, I did enjoy it!
It was playing at the theater here in town, so to save gas I walked there. LOL, I was almost back home and I got caught in the rain.
A cool side note: every Saturday the theater shows classic movies for free, you just bring in a canned good to donate to the needy. Well, this coming up Sat. they are showing three movies: The Princess Bride, Time Bandits and Spaceballs! Too fucking cool! I saw Princess Bride at that very theater when it came out in 1987. But do you know I've NEVER seen Time Bandits? It's on my list of must see movies...but how fucking cool would it be to see it on the big screen? I might have plans on Sat. but if not, I might try to see all three!
Saturday & Sunday:
I spent both days with my cool friend Terri. She's moving to Florida in the fall, so I helped her bring bags of her stuff up to the Goodwill store in Concord. Saturday evening we went for an hour's walk at a park in Nashua. Good times!
Sunday night I wrote a short horror story that I'm going to submit to Werid Tales magazine. I'm a huge Lovecraft fan and having one of my stories in the mag where he got his start would be an honor. No idea if they'll take it but I have to try.
Monday & Tuesday:
Didn't really do anything, lol. Just did some reading and fucked arouned on the computer.
Today:
This morning at 12:12 AM I went for a 90 minute walk up and around the hill I live on. My hill is steep and huge, it's very demanding. People come from all the nearby towns to ride their bikes up it, it makes a great work out. I had a lot of fun on my walk and I feel great today! I'd like to make it a habit of it.
Walking in my town after dark can be dangerous. There are bear, moose, coyote, foxes...
Sometime soon I'll tell a creepy true story about the hill I live on on here.
Not sure what the rest of my vacation will bring, hope it's fun! I'm sure not going to want to go back to work. I'd love a job where I travel. Lol, I have such a restless soul!
Take care, talk to you all soon

I love walking in the dark, different dangers here tho, crazy people, gangs, molesters, creepy people in general ... pigeons i guess qualify ...
thanks, my hair was damn messy in that photo. I had just gotten back from a bike ride, threw it in a ponytail and hopped in the shower.. then took that pic.
