I love, love, love this movie:
The Saddest Music In The World

This movie is so funny, yet the ending is very moving and yes, sad. It does manage to capture the feel of a movie made in the 30's or 40's and it's a Lynch knock off that feels like it could have been made by the master himself.
It's just a remarkable film and very close to what my sense of humor is like, lol
