Crazy days and strange, strange nights

I actually have pretty good data service tonight, so I thought I'd briefly check in. Alaska is spectacular and the work I'm doing is incredible. I'm digging the oldest site I've ever worked on (~13,500 years old)!

I've been having very odd dreams, though... Strangely enough, often involving my favorite folks from SG. Two nights ago I dreamt that I met @nebula while running a Spartan Race (not something I do, but I'd like to get into shape again and give it a try). That was basic enough, but then it took a bit of a turn... I was on a plane that crashed into a river and I woke up after a vivid image of getting sucked out of a hole in the fuselage into the cold dark water. Then last night I dreamt that @hylia was trying to get me to hook her up with a character from a TV show, which was strange A) because she's got a fella, B) because he's gay, and C) because he's not a real person (in my dream it was the character, not the actor).

I wonder what random encounters tonight will bring...

I know it was a dream, but for what it's worth - you don't need to be in peak shape to run a spartan! If those races interest you, just enter! There's no time limit on open waves, so you can go your own pace. If you enjoy it, that's motivation to get in better shape to challenge yourself more next time :).....I love that you have such involved dreams though haha!

@nebula honestly, it's been as much about time as anything... Prior to coming up here to the bush I don't think I've been able to get a full eight hours of sleep any night this year. But given that Texas seems just as terrible as I feared I think I'll have a great deal more time (outside of school) once I settle in down there. I'm hoping to find the time to do some races, perhaps get into parkour (however you spell that shit, lol), and generally become more of a badass!
