So my trip was way too short... Drove for 14 hours. Received a few honks because we had to stop 3 times to fix the tarp on the trailer, then eventually take it off. Had some Ihop <3 they super stuffed my crepe. We redid the tarp and it did alot better then what my friends husband attempted to do.
I love my friends family. They act like i've been part of the family my entire life. When the hubby deploys they are already planning on ways to kidnap me.
Got put on baby duty. They said it was to rub the baby "mojo" off on me. She was only about 2 months and so adorable. I was so scared. I haven't held a baby in like 8years. ended up with a bad muscle spasm in my shoulder, my friend had to massaged out. We played munchkin.. I won and had no idea what I was doing.
My old fosters didn't forget me which was awesome. One of them had kittens. Only one survived. The other girl is pregnant. On day two, We did some work helping organize a boat shed. I mostly supervised and kept the cats preoccupied. Took a nap and after waking up was put on baby duty again. Tilly wasn't so happy that day. We had steak and potatoes for dinner.. yum... I eat the best there!!
Day 3 we bathed the cats. They did not like that at all. Had some blt's for lunch with real bacon.. Got starbucks before we got on the train.
The train ride was long. The first ride was awesome because we got two seats each. The second ride we got stuck by the stairs. It was not comfortable at all. If they ask you if you want to move away from the light, no matter how tired you are, always say yes. I was so ready to get off the train by time it was over. trying to change in a room that s only shoulder width while moving is always awesome.
We went and got lotaburger. was my first try. Not as excited about it as they were. The place was dirty and my fries were only partually cooked. So yeah, wish I got more time to be there. If we stayed a couple more days I would have got to go to Chicago.

Beautiful cat pictures! I enjoyed the detail of your trip --- I can relate to long train travel and soggy fries. I've never tried to bath a cat.

I figure everything happens for a reason, even the crappy stuff. So as long as I learn from it, it has a positive outcome ^_^
