ok... so here's my REAL San Diego update 
San Diego was a blast! We started out flying in to San Francisco where Danielle's "big brother" evil_justen and his girlfriend picked us up and took us to a couple of bars to start off our vacation right. It turns out that they are really, really relazed on their no smoking ban up there. The 2 bars we went to, everyone was smoking! I wish I had a picture because there were a bunch of people in a small crowd right underneath a no smoking sign. It was pretty funny.
Anyway, the next day Justen showed us around the Berkley area. It's kind of like our Uptown, but with more shops and stuff. He had to leave for work so Danielle and I took a nap. I only slept 2 hours the night before. We then hopped onto the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train and rode it into San Francisco. (Justen actually lives across the bay in Oakland) We walked around and got some food at this really cool 50's diner called Lois' Diner. The food was pretty good too. After we ate we walked around to look for a place to get a couple of drinks. We ended up stopping in the morrocan place. Way cool!! They had belly dancers, hooka pipes, the whole works! We ended up almost walking out of teh place though because they sat us down but no one came to get our drinks. After almost 20 minutes we got up to leave. The manager asked why we were leaving. I told him that no one ever came by to get our drink order. He convinced us to stay by offering to buy one of our drinks. It was a cool atmosphere so we said why not. Danielle ordered a vodka/redbull and I got a drink called an Aladdin. It is made with Baley's, something else, and blue coraco. It was really good.
We left there and got back on the BART into Oakland to meet up with Justen at his work. He makes Pizza at this cool New York style pizza place where they have some kick ass micro brews! We hung out there until close, and after a few more beers for me and another vodka/redbull for the girlie. We got to his place about 3:30am (5:30am MN time) where we had to get packed up and ready to leave for teh airport for our 6am flight into LA. Danielle slept while I got no sleep whatsoever. I finally got a little sleep on the plane into LA. We had an hour and a half layover there, where I got some more sleep. It's almost time for us to board, but the other people had to de-plane first. The first person off of the plane was HENRY FUCKING ROLINS!!!! I was awe-struck... I just watched him walk on by with my mouth hanging open. I bet I looked pretty funny.
We got onto our plane (which was a dual prop plane btw!) and we finally flew into San Diego to meet the MOM's for Mother's Day. I finally met Danielle's mom and I now understand why she gets wierd and crazy all the time. Her mom is a blast and is really funny. Danielle finally got to meet my mom too. Both of our mom's hit it off really good so that was cool. After getting our rental car we all headed over to the San Diego Swap Meet, where we walked around for about 3 hours!!!! Fuck my legs were tired! We finally got to Danielle's mom's place where her brother Ryan was making a turkey. While it was cooking I finally got a REAL nap in. I slept for about 45 minutes but it felt like 3 hours! I woke up, ate some kick ass food, and then took another nap.. hahah! What do you expect when you feed me turkey! We just relaxed the rest of the night. My mom left and we watched the Sopranos and Big Love. after that we went to bed. Woke up the next day and all we did really was drive around to mission bay to get the "girls" shopping. We also stopped up in PB (pacific beach) to do some more shopping. I did buy a pair of shoes but Danielle went crazy!
Tuesday my mom got us a hotel room at Barona Casino. (it's like our casinos out here) They place was beautiful but it was kind of a drive to get there. (about 30-40 min) Anyway we finally were able to have sex for the first time the whole trip!! And Damn was it good! 8D Before the sex happened my mom treated us to one of the best buffets I have ever had! They had an Italian bar, Rotisserie bar, Mexican, Mongolian Stirfry, American, Salad, Desert, Chinese, and something else I can't think of. I won't go into details but the swordfish was awesome and Danielle and my mom came back with the biggest plate of crab legs I have ever seen!
Wednesday we were supposed to head up to Disneyland but my mom couldn't go so we decide to go on friday. We ended up driving up that way anyway to see my long time friend Ric and his girlfriend Elizabeth. It was good to see them again. After those guys we met up and stayed the night at Danielle's Aunt Laura's place. She decided to have a little get together for our being there. It was a good time. We sang kareoke on the playstation! Left early the next morning to beat the traffic.. but we still hit it.
Thursday we were supposed to meet up with my brother and the family but that ended up not happening. Danielle and her mom went and got their nails done and some more shopping when we got back. I got sick of waiting so I took a shower and headed up to my old mall where I used to work at... and to get my burrito from Pacific Taco!! The mall sucked but the burrito was worth the whole trip! My mouth is watering right now from just typing about it. I got back to Danielle's mom's and she was asleep on the coutch not feeling good. I was kind of pissed from earlier because she was smoking way too much on the trip and this made me in a more pissy mood. It faded when I found out she wasn't feeling good. I ended up calling my brother and telling him that we couldn't make it. We went out later that night to meet up with some of the SGSD group lead by drewvis. It was a good time but that group doesn't seem anywhere near as active as we are here in the SGTC! My friend and his wife drove down to see us and that was the only time I got to see him. But it was good to see them both.
Friday we woke up early... again...and picked up my mom and we headed to Disneyland! It was a blast! Too much detail but lets just say that I filled up my 2gig memory card!
Saturday was the day we left and my mom had a BBQ for everyone who we haven't seen yet... including my brother finally! Anyway it was a good visit. Tiring but fun, and glad to be back. I missed Bumpis and Danielle missed Luna. We both got lots of doggie kisses and kitty rubbings. It was cute.
