Okay it's been a few years since the last blog entry, so I thought "what the hell"? I might as well post another entry.
As 2007 comes to a close it's been a good year. Just finished up my fourth semester of grad school and, once again, pulled out a 4.0 This might have been the hardest semester to do that, as I'm now teaching AP World History and that takes up a lot of my time.
In the realm of the personal, I've continued to explore Buddhism and practice meditation. It's been a revelation and I find I am happier than I remember being in MANY MANY years. Perhaps since I was about 12 or so. Seeing as how I'm closing in on 38 that's a long time.
The holiday season has been enjoyable so far. I've lived up to my promise to do absolutely nothing except watch Soccer and try to gain as much weight as possible. We shall see if I can keep this up.
In the realm of politics, I'm so disgusted with all politicians that I think I probably will end up not voting. If I do vote it will be for the Libertarian party or for Ron Paul. I'm certainly not going to vote for any of the clowns who are running for the Democrat or Republican nomination (the aforementioned Ron Paul being the one exception). I'm just so tired of these guys lying to us and instead of doing something about the problems we are facing (such as $4.00 a gallon gasoline and run away budget deficits) they propose more government spending which leads to inflation which leads to things (such as gasoline) costing more money.
Okay, enough bitching. I can see there is a reason why I never blog.
