(not that anyone does)...but uh, watch this space for an updated blog, soon.

UPDATE!
Something-s worth writing about - Even if they are delayed...
So yeah this past weekend was fairly eventful; especially since it didn't just involve me sulking at home solely being consoled by my computer, video games, and movies.
I actually got off my ass, had an excuse to shave my face and decided to be social for a change...
It kicked off last Thursday, hanging out with my friend Shawn where we got together for the occasion to bid adieu to his apartment on his final night there. Joined by our friend Dan, we started things off with a Delicious sushi dinner; at a place where they had the biggest quality cuts of Nigiri sushi I've ever had the pleasure of consuming - SOOO good!
Dan had to cut out after dinner to go take n' care of his extremely pregnant wife.
So later on it was just Shawn & me who got pretty fucked up, whilst gaming and just straight up reminiscing of ol' times growing up. It was funny to both of us, the strange details we still remembered...like riding around on our bikes in the neighborhood to trade NES games with other kids, Haha!

Ah memories...

Fast forwarding to Saturday, I had received an invite from Shawn to join a bunch of our friends on a night-out at a cowboy bar in Fremont. Despite that such a place is not really my scene, I figured I'd been overdue to see a lot of my friends (I hadn't seen most of em since Christmas) and my friend Nicole was up here from LA as well - so it would be good to see them all there.
The place was pretty damn packed, but luckily we found ourselves a comfortable niche near the bar that apparently was the normal spot for just about everyone in our group.
We started things off with a round of shots called a Scooby Snack which were smooth and tasty. And since it was my first time there, my buddy Chris decided to initiate me by treating me to a series of shots they call The Four Horseman, which consisted of:
1 - Tequila
2 - Surfer on Acid
3 - Washington Apple
4 - Buttery Nipple
They all had to be taken quick, and right up front Chris told me I had to keep up with him, so I told him I'd do my best. Since the shots got sweeter towards the end, they were actually pretty easy to handle (even if downed quick) and surprisingly I actually managed to slam my last shot glass down before Chris did! But for sure, those series of shots got me on the fast-track to buzzdom and helped me drown out the (mostly) country music throughout the night. After them though, I just kept cool with a total of three Corona's for the rest of the night (NO getting sick for me, yeah! Reppin' my tolerance)
Through the rest of the night, touring the bar I witnessed some ladies get tossed off the mechanical bull they had there, I ran into a girl I used to have a crush on back in Kindergarten (!!!) and I actually got coaxed into a little bit of dancing with my friend Nicole...so all in all, I had a fantastic time with my friends there, and I was really glad I had joined them all - they are all awesome.

Since I stuck to a regimen of not getting complexly shit-faced, eating greasy fast food soon afterwards and drinking lots of water, I woke up hangover-free late on Sunday.
Which is always good; especially since I had a ticket to go and catch Circa Survive on their AP Tour at Slim's in San Francisco; who would be performing alongside with Envy On The Coast, As Tall As Lions and Cute Is What We Aim For.
I was really looking forward to this show, since it would mark my first time getting to see Circa Survive live and because they've really grown into a band I've come to admire and respect a lot - their album Juturna has had a genuine impact on my life.
Anyway, when they did take the stage, they definitely did not disappoint. The crowd went absolutely crazy for them (damn excited drunk dudes bumping into me repeatedly as I was trying to get some photos & video their set) and they sounded really fuckin' on; Anthony Green's excellent vocals and energy for the crowd for awe-some!

The only downfall to their set was that their set was short, and that surprisingly they weren't the headliners for the AP Tour. And so no encore was provided and some of their other excellent songs were left wanted (I had really hoped to hear an acoustic of Meet Me In Montauk).
There was a plus side to everything though; they performed 2 new songs and they participated in an autograph singing after the entire show. Unbeknownst to me though, some sort of golden wrist band was required to qualify for the signing, but I decided to give it a shot anyway and I acted all meek and got past the check successfully with my CD in hand.
So, I was lucky to have the chance to meet the band and get my CD and a poster signed. In talking with the guys, they mentioned that their new CD will be forthcoming in May. They also let me snap this picture of them (although I couldn't get all the guys' attention), despite the club's no flash rule too:

Bah...what rules? Haha...I just got really lucky
On an unrelated weekend note, as of this early morning, I FINALLY got past the song standing between my ascension into Normal Difficulty on Guitar Hero...I had established I would get a 5-Star rating on ALL the songs in both Guitar Hero 1 & 2 on Easy; and while I had breezed through most of the songs with ease for some reason it seems I had developed a mental block against No One Knows in the original Guitar Hero.
I was SO pumped after FINALLY nailing it that I was yelling n' throwing karate kicks...damn I'm sad, Haha!
