people will always be like that with body mods. im finally transitioning from the default views of modified people (prolly from the parents) to my new views - respect. because of education. if i saw someone on the street with a circular hanging out of their septum i would be nice to them vs most people staring.

Yea, it took a while for me to get to school too. After working corporate zombie jobs I realized that I really needed to get back to school and get involved in something that will make a difference (education major here). I can tell you one thing though, I really hate Political Science. My teacher is so boring that I dread finishing the rest of my school day. And you are dead on about life, it's always going to throw shit your way but you just have to take one hit at a time and deal with it the best way you know how.

Man, I hear ya. I used to live in Altoona, FL which is about 30 minutes from everything. The closest bigger city was Leesburg and Orlando was about 45 minutes away. Orlando completely went to shit a few years back. Like, the cool place to hang out was the Walmart or the Denny's. So, so sad; I was drowning in a sea of rednecks.

anti-depressants keep me alive I think... they do kinda make me feel weird sometimes... but I'm on a really low dosage right now... so I'm not all zombie-like. Plus... ativan is just something I use when I'm about to have a nervous breakdown or a panic attack... it's anti-anxiety, not anti-depressant... so yeah. I dunno... I'm sure everyone on here thinks I'm a crazy substance-addict... but really I'm not! I swear!
