Well, there had been a bunch of those, but I'm going to tell you about the most relevant one. I'm that kind of a person who loves to trace back all the events and consequence threads that have led to this very moment and current state of my life. So...
On a day before the New Year celebration I took a wrong bus...
Actually, I didn't even realize that right away. I was on the bus stop, it was cold, it started raining, I jumped into the bus and after few minutes realized that I haven't even looked what route is this. Ok, I'm a rather calm and adventurous person, and I had free time, I didn't panic and jump out on the very next stop, but decided to just stay and see where it goes, at least it was in the right direction and I know that part of the city well, so nothing bad could happen.
And so it went for 20 minutes, passed some familiar locations and finally the last stop was 1 metro station away from my home. Not bad.
I had nothing to do and nowhere to hurry, so I visited a local book store, didn't find anything interesting... left the store and started heading to the metro and suddenly bumped into a friend, Yevhen Vlasov, the shibari/kinbaku rope master on the photo attached!
We went to get some coffee and have a small talk, started discussing shootings and art ideas, and he told me that his friends @alexander_magnus and @leetattar shoot pictures for SuicideGirls and asked if I considered joining. I did! I did for a few years, but never saw a good chance.
It was a sign!
That very evening I texted them, two weeks later we shot my debut set BADASS and by the end of January already uploaded it here! Finally, in 9 days it goes up!
This was an amazing start of 2018 and even though I've only been here for a few months it has already affected my daily life a lot and my future plans!
I just took a wrong bus.
Or was it the right one, because it took me here?
