It is so hott here!! A mere walk to the food co-op becomes a trek across the desert. Texas is cool, they sell Mexican pan dulce in the grocery store. I bought some sorority-style white platform flip flops to wear. They rule! Last night we went out and my friend's friends bought me drinks. Instead of PBR they drink Lone Star Beer here, it's funny. My friend that I'm staying with has high speed internet. Yay. Everyone here has really nice, clean, stylized houses with beautiful vintage furniture. Drool.
