It's finally starting to be nice and warm here. I love getting to wear less clothes. I hate how biking makes skirts totally impractical. Sometimes I do it anyway and flash my drawers to the whole city. It makes me self-concious. Today I ran into friends and had stimulating, in-depth conversations about urban planning, global economics, and the bias inherent in academia. It ruled. I also read part of the new Slug & Lettuce and ate free food. I rode my old janky bike home through the warm ass night, with a loaf of free bread clunking around in the basket.
YAY! I am using my roommate's computer and he has the Dead Milkmen's Punk Rock Girl on it and I am listining to it and it is the best song in the world. I am always singing it but never get to hear it. It's over and I'm going to listen to it again. This song makes me believe in love again. The movie Valley Girl also does that. It is so sweet. I watched it the other night. As bitter as I get there is still this small hopelessly romantic part of me. It gets smaller but doesn't die.
