darco

So I figured that I should post a journal entry that tells a bit about myself.

My name is Robert. I have always gone by "darco" online, and will probably continue to do so indefinitely. If you ever meet me in real life, I respond to both "darco" and "Robert".

Please note that it is "darco", not "Darko". I was going by the nick darco long bafore that movie came out. I liked the movie, but not nearly as much as people seem to assume. Argh.

I am a software engineer, and I love it. As a result, I have a rather geeky side. Unlike a lot of geeky guys out there, I can talk more than just geek.

I am somewhat of a failed entrepreneur. I started my own company called Voria Studios a little over a year ago. It was an animation studio. What made it unique was that 1) it specialized in 2D animation, and 2) it used the animation software that I wrote. Check out the website.
