As I mentioned in my earlier post, I've been out of town for the past week or so. The first place I went to was Toledo, Ohio to examine and research the way that Yoder Machinery handles their inventory, so as to make sure that whatever website I make for them will interface nicely with it. I had a lot of...

In case I forgot to let anyone know, I will be in Toledo/Raleigh until next week. My access to email and my blog will be somewhat inconsistent.
Apparently, director Steven Spielberg was so moved at a screening of the upcoming Star Wars movie, he wept openly. Wow. “...it has a tremendous ending and it's very dark. You'll cry at the end, it's wonderful”, says Spielberg.
I feel so alone and isolated. When do I get to stop trying and start living? I feel my life ticking away, and I'm not quite sure what to do. Trying out this whole “self employment” thing is all good and dandy, but unless I am interacting with people on a daily basis I am going to go insane. By interaction, I...

A few days ago, Apple posted an update for their Safari browser, as a last set of fixes before MacOS X 10.4 is released. This update supposedly improves stability, and also adds support for the `feed:` URI(as in, whenever you encounter a link to a `feed:`, you get a popup telling you to go buy MacOS X 10.4, even though it hasn't been...

I believe I read somewhere that one of the best things you can do to ensure that you carry through with your plans is to write them down. The past four months of my life have been rather unproductive. I want to change this... And this is my plan to carry it out.
Overview
What are my priorities?

i particularly liked the light effects in the prologue animation when the characters walked through the beams of light.
you also rotated them in a very interesting way, it wasn't entirely lifelike perse but i'm not used to seeing such obvious character rotations in two dimensional animation.
anyway i'm sending you a friends request if you don't mind since you're obviously a interesting person to keep a eye on.
I've got quite a headache today--one of those kind that just ache for hours. Nonetheless, I'm quite proud of myself, as I have set up a system for automatically adding/modifying blog entries on other sites as I add/modify them on my own blog site.
Yes, this post has an ulterior motive: to test that system.
My day had been pretty lazy today, with the...

9.02 What kind of behavior can get my account suspended?
Having a public profile that allows you to post to the boards is a right that is very easily lost. The general rule of thumb is do not scare or make uncomfortable any other members or SuicideGirls and do not make the jobs of the people who work on this site harder then need be.
Do not make racist or sexist remarks.
Do not attempt to hack the site or run scripts on the site. Do not use a fraudulent credit card when joining the site.
Do not violate our terms of service.
I am not attempting to hack the site, and I think what they are really trying to avoid is scripts which would suck out all of the SG photos and/or be disruptive to the site.
Nonetheless, I don't know how anal they are about such things. If their attitude is similar to "Just don't cause problems or be an asshole and we will get along" (which is what I suspect), then I shouldn't have anything to worry about.
I wouldn't be so much worried about them blocking my IP as I would be them axing my account.

So, I finally got off my ass and turned deepdarc into a real blog. The only problem is that is currently is using the default theme. While the theme is really nice, it is hardly darc, so it must change.
I decided to go ahead and change the site over to the blog format, despite hot having a custom theme yet. I figure...

I am realizing now that I need to learn how to draw.
Random.
1) I bought a book titled "Execution: The art of getting things done" many months ago.
2) I have yet to read it.
This is intellectual coma.
