So in the mad rush of holiday shoppers you always get those totally awesome moments that just brighten up your day. One came yesterday when this lady who was shopping with her young daughter (probably six or seven years old). The lady was shopping for pants for her husband, she had gone through all the ones that were out on display and wanted to know if we had anymore in this one style. I told her the only other one we had was on this mannequin and if she wanted I could check the size of it for her. As we walk over to the mannequin her daughter looked up at me a said 'My mom works at Macy's.' 'She does?' I replied with interest. Her my jumped in a said 'No, I don't anymore.' 'Well she did.' Her daughter add on. I replied with, 'Oh that's cool.' Now I've never dressed a mannequin before let alone undress one. It was stand on a display stand and it's waste was probably level to the top of my head. I unbuckled the belt and then the pants. Unzipped the zipper and hope the pants would just fall right off. Of course they didn't. I looked around to see what the problem was and notice that the hands of the mannequin where in the way of them coming off. So I adjusted the arms and the pants fell down. As the lady and I looked at the size her daughter started to laugh. Her mother asked her what was so funny. The girl giggled and pointed at the mannequin 'I can see his...' 'SSSHHHH!' her mother interrupted her. I smiled. 'But I can see his,' the girl lowered her voice and started to spell out, 'P-E-E-P-E-E!' 'Stop it,' Her mother said. I smiled and told the lady the size of the pants in question. 'Perfect. I'll take them.' 'But mom...' the girl said. 'Shh... not now.' her my said. 'Ok let's see, how do we take them off this guy now?' I said. I looked around to see what the best way to go about get the paints off. The mannequin also had shoes on so it knew this was not going to be easy in anyways. I decide the best way to do this was just to lift the mannequin up so I wrapped my arms around the mannequins legs and lift it up. It's crotch now in my face. The girl began to giggle again. Of course the shoes were tied. The girl started laughing hard as she watched her mother and I struggle to get the shoes and the pants off. 'I can see it's wiener.' 'Hush honey and I don't want to hear you say that word again.' Her mother said as we finally got the pants off. 'Alright there we go.' I say laughing. 'Should we dress him now.' the lady asked. I replied 'I think that would be a smart idea.' Once we finish the lady thanked me for all my help grabbed her daughters hand who was still in a giggle fit and walked away. I returned to folding clothes with a big smile on my face thinking how much I like moments like these, the small ones that make your day.
I'm watching (500) days of summer for the second time right now. Such a great movie and Zooey Deshcanel is so hot. If she hadn't gotten married I would still be searching for her. The character Tom Hansen played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt reminds me of myself a lot it's kind of scary.
There's this girl at my work that is a total goddess and I really want to get to know her better the problem is she always on the go and never really slows down. I've talked to her a few times when I've seen her stop to pick up some stuff. We smile and said hi or bye as she passes by. But I just think it would kind of be weird to chance after her to talk to her when there's stuff that I need be doing plus I'm only hired on for the holidays and want to look like I a hard work in hopes that they will keep me on. I need to figure out a way to get her to slow down so I can talk to her more and hopeful get her number. I don't want to come off to strongly because she probably gets asked out all the time nor do I want to come off shy which I might have already though I can fix that. I don't know maybe I should just ask her out. Anyway just is what's on my mind right now.
