What a diff. a day makes eh?!?!
Yep I'm listening now to quite the contrast of tunes

I dug the white noise scene coming outta NYC in the
mid 80's
The Swans, Pussy Galore, some small time,
screwdrivers in their guitar frets- band called Sonic Youth!
oh me and my overly serious, extreme hipster demeanor!
Of course there were other musical influences that I still treasure even today:

Reading wise, yeah i always loved Emerson and the Beats
but for melancholy me,
Post-modernism, Russian lit & Baudelaire were IT man!!!
Me and my silly Trostky-ite attitudes!
Smokin cloves was such a
"co-opted cultural" signifier of late capitalism and trust fund kids!
I was for REVOLUTION man!
