Scrolll down to see the LARGE collection of images smuggled out of the country digitaly by the Burmese "rebel blogs"!
Hey hey SG!
Long time no post!
Anyways,
many of you are also connected internet wise with me on that cursed m*space site...
so ya know I've been very involved in conveying & posting
latest pics & developments in quite a rapidly evolving news story.
I've got to get back to the news wires & RSS feeds but wanted to post
in some kind of chronological scroll the amazing activism of
first a few Buddhist monks...
then more monks,
then nuns bravely joined the marches
citizens seemed to have become inspired & emboldened by their
courage & commitment that they started to follow behind.
Some would march alongside in human chains to keep the clergy from
possible beatings.
From a few to a massive people's movement!
It's been an amazing last couple of days..
it's ONLY been over a week!
Now the junta is moving in troops & police
some plainsclothed, some reportedly with shaved heads
meant to stir chaos up within their ranks.
Monks have been shot in the past few hours...
the violence shall escalate by the minute
I must get back to watching the wires and waiting for raw footage that's being
posted on you tube before even Reuters or the BBC get them
I'll post links when i have time.
Please just keep their courage & safety in your thoughts & prayers
Their "Saffron Revolution" is now facing its darkest hours!

I saw this really awesome documentary on television a couple of years ago about the monks and how they have rival "monks" and they rebel and fight one another. Very interesting.
