I began the planning stage of my half sleeve that is going to cover my first tattoo: a terribly old and somewhat hideous dragon on my right arm. I've been talking with the guy who's going to do it, and I'm trying to go with a Rob Zombie-esque theme of zombie girls with guns. We discussed the duration of the work, and I told him that if his hand can hold out, I can deal with it. I realize that it'll probably take more than one visit, but patience is not one of my virtues. He's skeptical about my desire to do as much as he can in one sitting. I told him if he could get what I wanted in the main part of the picture, I'd give him artistic license on the rest of it. He's damn good, and I'm really interested to see what he comes up with.

My vacation is slated for the last week of October (I'll have Samhain off for the first time in years ) so I'm planning on starting it on my first day off. I should be able to go back for the next session before I go back to work. It'll suck going back, since it's doubtful that I'll have an easy time wearing a shirt. Work sort of frowns on that sort of thing...

Depending on my finances (and how much the ink's going to cost me) I might just go ahead and get my nipples pierced while I'm there. If I'm going to spend a week shirtless, I might as well go for broke Nipple piercing still kinda scares me though, but sooner or later I'm going to run out of body parts to poke holes in.
