I saw Bad Religion play tonight. They did a show at Janus Landing in St. Pete. That was a fucking awesome show. The first band sucked, the second band, Rise Against kicked ass, and when Bad Religion hit the stage, it was fucking great...You knew everybody was here to see THOSE GUYS. Almost a thousand kids pushed against one another screaming the lyrics to every song. It was a cool sense of community too. This guy next to me put his arm around my shoulder like I was one of his buddies and a couple other people high fived me between songs. Everybody was just having fun. It was sweet. Bad Religion played like at least 20 some odd songs (their set list was fucking BIG) and then after the show they played about a 5 song encore. Afterwards my best friend and i stopped at McDonalds. They're doing the Monopoly thing again and I got Park Place off my coke. My friend was like, "Oh my God, I have Boardwalk I think." He'd been there with a friend of ours the night before and he or our friend got Park Place, and my friend was thinking boardwalk. Though he said he'd go home and check, and he'd be at my house in about 2 minutes if he had it. It woulda been sweet. If you get those 2 pieces you win a cool 1 million. That'd be pretty sweet for a couple of high school grads who are broke and not in school. Heh heh, its always fun to think what you'd do with that kind of money. So now I'm relaxing, since that show was about the most physically demanding thing I've done in a while. I really need to work out more, lol. I'm not a weak guy or anything, I'm strong enough. Not like "strong" strong, but I can bench almost 150. That aint bad. I need to build stamina though I get winded too quickly. That was a fucking amazing show, they played everything I wanted to hear except Punk Rock Song. They even played Let Them Eat War, with the singer of Rise Against doing guest vocals. So awesome...I love that song. That was fucking great. Highlight of my week to be sure. Tomorrow I get my paycheck, and my friend pays me back most of the money he owes me. Good times.
