Lay offs give you a real unique opportunity to re-envision yourself. After 16 years in commercial biotech, it is hard for me to explain my value. But occassionally i come up with gems like this:
“Breadth of experience from hunting technical opportunities, evaluating them, developing them into product, tech transferring product, manufacturing and qc of product, and pre and post sales marketing of product. Entire product life cycle, direct experience from all departmental aspects.”
Here’s another brag:
“Expert scientist on concepts involving genomics, epigenomics, gene regulation, transcriptomics and molecular and cellular biology of nuclear function”
