New favourite thing!!!!! I just got done with dinner and found what for right now I think is the coolest invention. Anybody that likes tacos and cooks for themselves should check it out.
Old El Paso stand and stuff tacos.
I have always had issues filling hard shell tacos, because they would fall over and stuff would go everywhere. These stand and stuff shells have a flat spot on the bottom about 3/4 inch wide so they stand on their own whilst you fill them. And they were not difficult to eat like I had feared they may be with the wide bottom. I was afraid the shells would shatter and everything would fall out, but that did not happen.
On another note, if you buy a box of spanish rice mix, read the directions before you get the stuff in the pan, it may want you to dump a can of chopped tomatoes in it a some point. Luckily I had a can of rotel chopped tomatoes and chiles in the cupboard, part of my recent foray into trying to make my own salsa con queso. (which turned out rather well if I do say so myself, and cost about half as much to make than if you buy the tostitos.) The can was 10 oz instead of 14 1/2 ounce like it called for with the tomatoes, but I think it turned out good with the chiles and the flavor may have been a bit more concentrated. Gives it a little .....kick...
Ok then, enough blathering......I must be the lamest guy ever. With the thousands of hot women on this site, and all I blog about is dinner and christmas decorations.
Hi to all my friends and favs. Sorry to those that may need me to say sorry to them.
