i had to stay up in fruita the past few weekends because iv been working up there, and i met these three guys at the bar. so, we hung out a bit, and i found out that one of them is my student body president at mesa state. yeah, and i smoked pot with him right outside on main street!!!! LOL anyway, they publish an underground anarchist news paper called "the red pill", and it is pretty amazing stuff. they also have a huge community house for bums and punks and whoever needs a place to stay. next week they are having a punk show in the basement!!! to make a really long story short, they took me out to an island in GJ , ya know the bridge when you first come in? well, there are tons of bums that made it there own little community like. they even built huge forts and stuff!!! anyway, we also got shot at going in there. it was more like a warning shot in the air, but once they knew who it was they were happy to see them. they bring them food and visit this one crazy bum named wolfe that we drank sake with down by the river. it was way fun. the next day, i met everyone at the house and had dinner with them. every sunday tons of people come over to donate food and it all has to be vegan. its called their vegan sunday dinner. so, im going to make it a plan to go every weekend. everyone there is way cool. well, that was my weekend. pretty crazy hu? i kinda hope that i learn a lot from these guys, they are way cool.
