I just had a thought, and this is my journal, so fuck off.

Alright, why is it that drunks are looked down upon? Obviously I'm presenting this question as a drunk myself(obviously being defensive), but please, bear with me...

I was on the phone with someone, drunk, saying some hard-hitting-home shit to them. After I railed their ass for about 20 mins, the person on the other line said, "Dude, are you drunk...?"

That pissed me off. Would I have said the shit to them I said while sober? Probably not. But, I was drunk, ya got more balls to let it fly, ya know?

The thing is, when you do go off like that, when you say shit to people that you only think to yourself, I've come to this odd dichotomy. When they ask my condition, if I say, "yes, I'm drunk as hell," then they are offened, take everything I say as crap, and hang up the phone. But, if I were to say, "No, I'm sober," the same person would respond in a "dude, you're so smart," demeanor and take everything I say to heart. We gotta stop with the discrimination, unless you're talking to a really bad drunk, which many are...

But anyways, people gotta keep up with the "In Vino Veritas" mentality.
