I feel like an old man. Lately all I want to do is stay home and relax. Work has been pretty hectic for the last couple of weeks. I had to take over this chick's shit because she was out for a week. That sucked. Her job sucks. I don't envy her at all.
I got the new Guitar Hero. It's mostly awesome. I didn't get all the instruments because I couldn't spend 200 fucking dollars on that shit. But I'll get them eventually.
I also got the new Command & Conquer game, Red Alert 3. I was a big fan of Red Alert 2 when it came out, so I'm stoked to play the new one. I've always loved RTS's.
The election came and went. I don't really care too much about the specific issues. Only one thing passed that I'm pissed about. Here in California, we had Prop 2, which was to enforce more "humane" treatment of farm animals that are bred to be slaughtered and turned into food. This is fucking ridiculous. First of all, there's no reason to treat animals "humanely". They're not human. They're fucking animals. Not to mention they wouldn't even be alive if it weren't for the fact that they're bred to made into food. They're just a commodity like tomatoes or apples. Fuck this shit about "souls" and respecting them as "living creatures." They're food! Now that all these regulations will be put in place, our food costs will go up, and we'll be more dependent on food imported from other countries like Mexico, which will bring in disease and who knows what else. Great, let's support yet another country's economy... a country that doesn't enforce these same rules that we now have to follow. Sweet.
