cover up i just finished today.

new years is over. my party went pretty good. had a few mishaps but that shoud be expected. i was so busy playin host that i wasnt even able to enjoy myself as much as i wouldve liked but i made sure everyone else did. half way through the night, the upstairs bathroom plumbing was leaking into my basement. im handyman clueless so im glad my brother came home at that time. he fixed it, no prob.

as soon as all that was done, i was able to grab a drink and join everyone again and before i got too comfortable, the other mishap happened,......

ill start this one off with a story that goes back a year or so,.....

a good buddy of mine is in the music biz and know alot of big names. he always hooks me up with them incase they might want some lame tattoos by me or something. anyway, this time me and him took the guys and crew from Stone Sour to the strip club a night before their show here. so everything is all cool until the next night after the show, backstage. the bass player of stone sour is shitfaced drunk and totally hittin on my buddys girl. (the buddy that introduced me to them). he was tryin to be cool and let it slde cause dude was drunk and all that. well, ended up being harmless.

next time Slipknot came to town, a few months ago. my buddy was with those guys again backstage after the show. i missed this one but he sure told me. well. the bass player of stone sour is also a guitar tech for slipknot, so he was there again in full on drunken form which i guess he is pretty known for him. he picked up right where he left off with my buddys girl (wife, now). i guess it was pretty bad this time where she pushed him or something which made him come at her which made my buddy come at him which made a roadie from As I Lay Dying run up and blindside my buddy. knocking him out and when he fell he broke his ankle.

so, my buddy is on crutches at my new years party. he was havin a great time and as he was leaving, his crutch slipped off the step, he fell and his head went through my window and knocked himself out again. poor guy. he has some fucked up luck. he went to the emergency room that night cause he couldnt tell us what state he lived in. i talked to him in the morning and he was much better. headache like a motherfucker but he was ok. we had a good laugh about his luck.

other wise,..... i had a nice little break from work over the holidays and get back to work for my first apt of 2006 and its a no show! gotta love gettin paid the deposit and bein able to just do nothing for a few hours. not a good sign for the rest of the year but what can ya do??
